What’s included when you cruise the Kimberley with Odyssey Expeditions? Our easy access, exploration delicate (Homer) is usually the one who will receive us to visit places such as. A full day of exploring the Island group today, with more fishing or swimming for those that are keen. After a beach visit and swim we head to the external islands for a spot of fishing. Behind lunch we will head further north to Hall Point for a spot of fishing before we steam past Kari Bay pearl farm and onto Camden Sound, here we will anchor the evening prior visiting the historical sites of W.A.’s early explorers. Heading out previous Augustus Island we will make our way to Hanover Bay for a leisurely swim and beach walk prior heading towards the Prince Regent River. For those that are keen there may be an opportunity for an premature morning fish before catching the incoming tide that will carry us deep into the Prince Regent River to Kings Cascade. For the adventurous there is an opportunity to climb to the top of the falls for a fresh water swim. Later in the morning we will head to Madge Bay and our luck at fishing earlier heading to the Mitchell River. This afternoon brings exploring on the beach walk on one of the remote beaches there. After lunch we will depart the Mitchell River and head to Vansittart Bay. Once at the mouth of the river we will board Homer and explore further up this river system. There will be an opportunity for some fishing hasty this morning, for those that are keen, followed by an excursion to the Berkeley River. Calm within the Prince Regent there are a lot of exploring to do, we will cruise further up the magnificent watercourse and take you to, probably the Kimberley’s most famous icon, the superb King Cascades. We will go ashore for a leisurely walk on the pure white sands of Silica Beach then head to Crocodile Creek where we’ll have a swim in a new water hole at the base of a waterfall. Earlier Lunch we will go ashore a stroll along the pretty Hanover Beach, look at ancient aboriginal art then back to Odyssey for lunch and some afternoon fishing. This day has arrive all too soon, but the adventure is not over yet, you calm have an action stuffed day ahead. Then it’s off on your end trip in Homer to explore the beaches of Naturalist Island where we will meet your helicopter. Light aircraft helicopter transfers are included in the cost of your cruise. 8 days on board Odyssey with all meals included. Our experienced crew will receive you out in one of our 3 affectionate vessels equipped with fishing gear and tackle and assist you as much as you require. Scrumptious nibbles and a light dinner will be served shortly behind leaving Brooke and then it's an overnight steam to the Cowley Shoals.
